Grace Woodard is a wife, mom of five, and disciple maker. She enjoys coming alongside others and encouraging them in their pursuit of the Lord. Whether it’s family, neighbors or friends from around the world, Grace loves to welcome people into their home to gather around the table for a time of refreshment, both physical and spiritual.

Dr. Cindy Townsend is Women’s Minister at First Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi. The Lord has led Cindy to serve churches, conventions, nonprofits, and schools throughout her years of ministry. Her God-given passion is women’s ministry/missions and a desire to encourage women to develop their gifts fully to serve the Lord. In addition to her ministry work at First Baptist Jackson, she is a freelance writer and inspirational speaker for conferences and women’s events. Cindy is married to Dr. Bill Townsend, Vice-President at Mississippi College and they have two adult children, William Townsend and Taylor (Seth) Conerly, and one granddaughter, Finley Conerly.

Scott Sullivan is married to the love of his life, Elizabeth. They have four children: Erika, Austin, Caleb, and Noah. Together, he and Elizabeth enjoy helping families discover meaningful discipleship in their homes. Scott is an author, speaker, national discipleship consultant, and disciple-maker. He is passionate about Jesus, family, and the outdoors! Elizabeth is an artist and designer.

Terri and Butch Butcher live in Monroe, Georgia. They have been married since 1979 and have three daughters and one son, three sons-in-love, a daughter-in-love and seven grandchildren. Her passion is prayer and teaching the Word, and she is grateful for opportunities to use her spiritual gifts of teaching and exhortation in the local church, through the Christian Learning Centers ministry, and at women’s and student conferences across the country. Terri enjoys playing tennis and golf with Butch, gatherings at home with family and friends and playing with her grandchildren.

Shannon and Kathy Ramsey are originally from Georgia but have served overseas for the past 9 years in South Asia with the International Mission Board. They have three children, Jordan, Ashlyn and James, and two dogs, Kalo and Polly. Their work has included pioneer church planting among unreached peoples, leadership development and oversight of a relief agency engaged in various humanitarian projects, including response to Refugees. Shannon and Kathy now reside in Statesboro, Georgia where they are launching the 4th office of Families4Families, a Foster Child Placement Agency.

Jessica Mathisen lives in Athens, Georgia with her husband and two kids. She is a recovering perfectionist, a former teacher, and a lover of people. Her passion is to communicate God’s love to others through writing and relationships. She is honored to be the Development Director at Athens Pregnancy Center, but her most favorite things are hanging with her family, eating chips and salsa, and reading good books.

As the Minister’s Wives Consultant for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and Director of Women’s Ministry at North Metro Baptist Church, Mary Cox has a passion for encouraging and discipling women. She is the wife of Dr. Frank Cox, Senior Pastor of North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She also has three children and 5 grandchildren.

Laura Simms graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has always loved to create and enjoys encouraging and teaching others to be creative. Currently, she works at the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and through her job Laura has been able use her God-given ability to serve others. She is married to Jason and together they have 2 children, Braden 17 and Alyssa 26.

Lorna Bius serves with Georgia Baptist Women as a Mission Georgia Mobilizer, helping churches bring Gospel centered care to Human Trafficking, Childhood Literacy, Foster Family/Adoption, Refugees/Internationals and Pre/Post Natal Care.

A native of Georgia, Lorna surrendered to ministry in her hometown at Northside Baptist Church, Valdosta in 1993. She led youth ministry at three churches from 1994-2005. Before joining the Georgia Baptist Mission Board in October 2019, Lorna served as a missionary with the North American Mission Board from 2005 until 2019. She first served in Nevada, and then thirteen states in the West Region. Lorna moved to Clarkston, Georgia in 2016, where she currently resides.

Donna Gaines is the wife of Dr. Steve Gaines, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church and he formerly served as president of the Southern Baptist Convention from 2016 to 2018. Donna is a graduate of Union University (B.S.) and Texas Woman’s University, (M.Ed.). Donna is a devoted student of God’s Word and has written and taught Bible Studies for over 36 years. She has taught youth, college and women’s groups. She is the author of four books, There’s Gotta Be More, Seated: Living from Our Position in Christ, Leaving Ordinary, Encounter God through Extraordinary Prayer and her fourth book, Choose Wisely, Live Fully. Steve and Donna have been married for 40 years and have four children, Grant, senior pastor of Belle Aire Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN and married to Melisa, homemaker; Lindsey, homemaker and wife of Ryan Wingo, worship pastor at Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Bogart, GA; Allison, homemaker and wife of Gentry Hill, senior pastor of FBC Camden, AR and Bethany, homemaker and wife of David Golding with Turner Construction Company of Memphis TN. Steve & Donna have fifteen grandchildren!

Daphne has served full-time in various roles and leadership capacities within pregnancy care ministry since April 2007. Presently, she is the Founding Executive Director of Atlanta Morning Center, a strategic partner of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. Daphne was endorsed by the SBC Chaplain’s Commission as a Lay Chaplain in July 2008 and as a Mission Service Corps Missionary (MSC) with NAMB in August 2008. She was recognized by Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine as a 2015 Superwoman for her contributions and service to the community. Daphne was a 2019 recipient of the Warriors for Life Medal from the Restoration Project.
