STUDENT MOBILIZER
INTERNATIONAL MISSION BOARD, ATLANTA, GA

Anna lived and worked in Be’er Sheva, Israel for two years as an ESL teacher in a Bedouin village. A native Alabamian, she moved to Atlanta, GA with her husband a year and a half ago and currently works as a part-time student mobilizer with the IMB. She enjoys chatting over coffee, studying languages (especially Hebrew and Arabic), and running outside.

With ten years in ministry counseling, Joy Anisa understands that life can unravel. Joy’s experience with a life-altering crisis was a messy gift that came with a perfect bow. Joy lives life using her spade of sorrow to dig a well of joy. Joy is married to Jeff, a bi-vocational pastor, their daughter is serving with London City Mission in London, England, and their son is a sophomore at Eagles Landing Christian Academy. They live in Conyers, GA.

Lorna Bius serves as a Send Relief Missionary in Clarkston, GA. She surrendered her life to Christ as a Girl in Action (GA) and later began serving in ministry while a student at Valdosta State. After leading youth ministry at three south Georgia churches, she moved to Reno, Nevada as a North American Mission Board Missionary. She served as Women’s and Community Ministry Director for the Nevada Baptist Convention and then as LoveLoud Catalyst in Denver, Colorado. Lorna now serves at the Send Relief Hub in partnership with Clarkston International Bible Church mobilizing churches to engage the nations here in North America.

DONNA DRAKE

WOMEN’S MINISTRY LEADER
SOUTHSIDE BAPTIST NETWORK, MCDONOUGH, GA

Donna Drake is the women’s ministry leader for Southside Baptist Network and Salem Baptist Church in McDonough, GA.  She leads women to grow in their faith through a focus on God’s Word and living this out in their local communities.  She has a deep love for music and was a music educator for 30 years through Clayton and Henry County Public Schools.  She has also served as church pianist for 25 years.  She’s involved in a variety of ministries including leading women to provide meals for shut-ins, crafting with local community women hoping for gospel conversations, organizing and leading Bible studies, and developing the women of the SBN through leadership training.

ALBERT & GRACE FAIRCLOTH

Albert and Grace Faircloth are both graduates from the University of North Georgia where they earned degrees in art. They have been married for 4 years and returned in October from a 2-year assignment in Central Asia. There, they used their art as a way to visually communicate the Gospel and reach the art community in their city. They are living in Richmond, VA where Grace is working with a Christian Non-Profit and Albert is working and pursuing his Master’s degree.

JACKIE HARDY

Jackie Hardy lives out her missions calling as an educator, mother, grandmother and pastor’s wife.  She is married to Mike Hardy who serves as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church, Social Circle. Jackie is the former Georgia WMU President and currently serves as Recording Secretary for National WMU.   Whether it is leading a small group in her local church with women and teens, mobilizing her church for prayer, or serving the children at Social Circle Christian School, Jackie overflows with a love for Christ and His mission to reach all nations.

Laura Harper serves at National WMU as a ministry consultant for adults and cultures groups.  She has served as a missionary with NAMB and IMB focusing on Hispanic and unreached people groups.  She considers God’s grace to be the constant driving force in her life and loves being with family and friends while finding ways to be involved with holistic missions most every day.

She received a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Georgia and later received her C.P.A. certificate. She worked in several different states and in Germany, primarily in Internal Audit, as she moved for her husband’s Federal career.  God has given her a passion to help others keep their bodies, His holy temple, strong and healthy, so they can serve Him.

My name is Kevin Faramarz Mansoori, and my wife’s name is Ozden Mansoori. We have a son, Ashkan. I was born in Tehran, Iran and Ozden was born in Izmir (Smyrna) Turkey. Our background was Muslim. When God called us to plant a Church he showed us many Iranian people suffering, who do not know the love and truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have seen and experienced many of the same situations as they have, and I try to show them how Christ gave me peace and guided me through difficult times.

KATHY MIMS

FORMER WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, ALBANY, GA

Dr. Kathyrn Mims has a PhD in Child & Family Development with a minor in Gerontology and a Master of Social Work degree. She recently retired as Director of Senior Adult and Women’s Ministries at First Baptist Albany where she served for 21+ years. Dr. Mims has been planning, preparing and conducting workshops for over 30 years. Her desire is to see people establish healthy relationships with other people and with God. Her family and friends play a vital role in her ability to lead a fulfilling and productive life. She and her husband Clayton celebrated 25 years of marriage this past fall. They have three adult children (to whom Kathy is friend/stepmom), seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Joyce Morse is an advocate for Pure Water, Pure Love (PWPL), the clean water ministry of National WMU.  Raised in a home where missions involvement was key, Joyce is a passionate believer in joining God where you see Him working and in using the platform God gives you.  Hear the incredible story of how God led women’s leaders in rural South Georgia to complete 145 PWPL projects and the results of their faithfulness.  Learn how you can be involved in PWPL and other missions projects that mobilize women to make Christ known.

Karen Pace is currently serving as consultant with Georgia Baptist Women.  In this position, she serves churches by assisting them with missions education for preschool and children, as well as leadership development.  In addition, she serves as consultant for the girls’ summer missions camp at Camp Pinnacle.  Throughout the years, Karen has served in many volunteer church positions working mostly with youth and children.  Before joining Georgia Baptists, she worked with the North American Mission Board, taught high school, and worked for a corporation in Atlanta.

DIANNE PARKER

WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
MONTICELLO BAPTIST CHURCH, MONTICELLO, GA

Dianne Parker serves as the Women’s Ministry Director at Monticello Baptist Church.  As a young wife, mother, church member and volunteer, Dianne realized she did not know how to read her Bible or understand it, and only prayed in emergencies.  A friend invited her to Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), an international, interdenominational Bible study where her life was changed through an intimate relationship with God.  Dianne became a teaching leader for BSF for 10 years in the Atlanta area.  She teaches with life applications, humor, Bible teaching that is about a real God, with real power and hope for real people who need Him daily.  Dianne and her husband, Randy, have two children and five grandchildren.

BEVERLY SKINNER

Beverly Skinner is the Young Women, Women’s Ministry, Missions Mobilization Consultant for Georgia Baptist Women. She is committed to helping all women discover and live out the purpose for which God has created them. Her two favorite pairs of shoes are her cowboy boots, always true to her Texas roots, and her Keen’s, which she loves to wear while exploring the North Georgia mountains with her husband Warren.

WILL WHITAKER

IVY CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH, BUFORD, GA

Will was born and raised in Enterprise, AL, and loved growing up in a small town that truly understood the value of community. At 13, he felt the call to vocational ministry which led him to pursue both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in vocal/choral music education from Auburn University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Church Music from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010.

He participates in the Sons of Jubal (Georgia Baptist Men’s Chorus), he is an active adjudicator for the Georgia Baptist Keyboard Festivals, and a vocal and keyboard teacher for the Georgia Baptist summer music camp (Surge 150). He is an executive member of both the Georgia Baptist Church Music Conference and Baptist Church Music Conference and an active member of the Grammy-award nominated Baptist professional male chorus, the CenturyMen. Over the last few years, he has sung on numerous choral demo recordings for Celebrating Grace and One Voice Publishers.

He enjoys teaching private voice and piano lessons, running, reading, and traveling. He and his wife, Deanna, were married in 1998 and have three sons.

GRACE WOODARD

MISSIONS LEADER
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, DULUTH, GA

Grace Woodard is a wife, mother of five, professional registered nurse, and member of First Baptist Church, Duluth.  She currently serves as a Habitude Leadership Instructor.  Grace has held many leadership positions through her church including WMU Director, Family Mission Trip Coordinator/Strategist, Teacher of International Bible Study Group, and Youth Missions Coordinator.  She served as Youth Chairperson of the WMU Executive Board and has been influential in the development of Camp Pinnacle Summer Missions Camp for Girls.  Grace has a way of connecting with others and influencing them to be radically involved in the mission of God.
