Do you feel emotionally, physically, relationally, or even spiritually weary, especially after 2020? Most women do! As a women’s ministry leader, it is important to be able to admit your own needs so that you can find the emotional, relational, spiritual, and physical health you need to lead the women of your church well. During Selah 2021, we will explore how all of these aspects of life are interdependent and discover tools for overcoming weariness so that we can continue on in the good work to which God has called us.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
A Georgia native, Ashley serves as the Associate Singles 20s/30s Minister at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama. She has a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School and a Certificate of Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. While Ashley has a passion for discipling young women, she also loves her city, and when she’s not at the church or meeting with girls, you can find her at the farmer’s market or trying some new local restaurant.
Megan Cryder (RN, BSN, MSN, FNP-C) is a Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Women’s Health. She has a passion for teaching simple steps to becoming healthy and remain healthy as well as how to prevent disease. Megan practices from the premise that our spirit, soul, and body are woven together to create one system, each contingent on the other, and that God calls for us to glorify Him in all three areas. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 1:2. She and her husband Jeff have 3 children, Harper (9), Jake (6), and Eli (5).
