God created you special and unique. He has a purpose and plan for your life. He wants nothing more than to be in a personal relationship with you. God is trustworthy and extends an open invitation for you to follow Him. As you continue to explore faith, learn more about how deep God’s love is for you.

God is Who He Says He is

“God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all.”
1 John 1:5

“Love is not that we loved God, but He loved us…”
1 John 4:10

God Will Do What He Says He Will Do

God created the world in perfect order, but our desire to be independent of God broke that perfect relationship. No one is good all the time, and we cannot make ourselves righteous. So God promised to restore our brokenness.

“I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak…” Ezekiel 34:16

Living independent of God leads to attitudes and actions that go against how he created us to live. Those choices lead to pain and suffering. In order for God to restore us, we need to ask for God’s forgiveness.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9

God provided a way for us to know him through Jesus. Attitudes and actions against God demand punishment, and Jesus took that for us by dying on the cross. Jesus’ sacrifice was accepted by God because he was perfect.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

God invites us into a relationship with him by faith. God wants us to trust him by believing Jesus died and rose again. Jesus’ resurrection assures those who believe in him will also live forever with him in Heaven.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
