The Jean A. Morgan Scholarship provides financial assistance to young women, 18-35, to serve in an international or North American short-term mission trip.
Applicant must be a Christian and active member of a Southern Baptist church, and feels called to participate in short-term missions endeavor.
Applicant should be able to express a legitimate financial need.
Priority is given to applicants who have participated in Acteens or Youth on Mission, served as Camp Pinnacle staff, or involved in myMISSION or Women on Mission.
Scholarship recipients should send a brief summary of their experience to the Georgia Baptist Women office upon returning home.
If the mission trip does not materialize, scholarship recipient should return the grant for the benefit of other young women in need of financial assistance.
