September 15-16, 2023 at Pinnacle Retreat Center, Clayton

A weekend retreat for women of all ages in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains

One of God’s greatest gifts is hope! It is hope in Christ that assures us of his presence during difficult times and keeps us steadfast no matter the circumstances we are facing. Hope can be found in Christ alone! At the Women on Mission Series, you will hear testimonies of women, just like you, who have anchored their hope in Christ as they walked through mental health issues, grief, foster care, and other real-life events. We’ll explore how the church can share hope and meet critical needs. You’ll leave inspired to be genuine in love, patient in hard times, constant in prayer and compassionate to all.

Blair Nodine

Some people come to Christ softly and then there’s Blair. “Jesus Joy” may be her jam but it wasn’t always that way. Blair is quite transparent about her life and what she has walked through. Part of her story is that she lives with mental illness (Bipolar 1 with rapid cycling). Her walk is paved with shame, frustration, hurt and heartbreak but that was only the beginning – today she enjoys the victory that only Christ can give. Blair says, “I may be a late bloomer, but praise God, I’m blooming!”

Cindy Bradley

Cindy is the Women’s Missions and Ministries/Missions Education Catalyst for the Florida Baptist Convention. She graduated from Union University in Jackson, TN with a BA in Religion and from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY with a master’s in religious education. She loves to help women know the importance of personally engaging with God’s Word and loves to take women out of their comfort zone on mission trips to tell others about the love of Jesus. Cindy and her niece, Shayna, make their home in Jacksonville, FL.

Cindy is certified in Multiplying Hope, a resource that utilizes Biblical storytelling and experiential learning to personalize God’s message of redemption and hope through difficult times. She will lead us through Lessons from a Desperate Woman.

Lauren Sullens

Lauren Sullens is a pastor’s wife and homeschooling mom of five, currently serving as the Georgia BWMU President. She believes spending time in God’s Word stirs women to be more engaged in missions. A lover of all things outdoors, she spends spare time running, paddleboarding, and growing a garden.

Lauren will facilitate a Hope In Christ panel who will share testimonies of God’s victory through real life struggles.
